The Helix FAP firmware runs directly on the Flipper Zero hardware. Helix and Helix Fusion connect over RPC, USB, BT, or UART and pull captures off the SD card via the chunked STORAGE.READ stream. The FAP writes standard Flipper file formats so captures round-trip with stock firmware.
